Elena Höge
Elena is the solo-founder and managing director of Yaldi Games. Her passion for gaming and learning blossomed during her teenage years, inspired by Assassin’s Creed and its sublime integration of historical knowledge into pure entertainment.
At the age of 16, Elena knew she wanted to establish her own game studio, creating games that enrich lives by weaving knowledge into the core gameplay. In 2019, after starting to forage, she discovered the vibrant world of hobbies and hobby communities, filled with passionate and caring people. This realization sparked her vision for a games company that would serve as a hub for hobby communities to learn, share knowledge, and forge meaningful connections.
Elena has won over 11 grants and awards for Yaldi Games, including the Converge Creative Challenge, Young Innovators Award, UK Games Fund, Innovate UK Next Steps, Social Shifters Global Innovation Challenge, Scottish Edge and more!
